Dr. SHIN, Jungcheol

[Biography]
Dr. Shin is an associate professor at Seoul National University. He served for the Korea Ministry of Education about 20 years. His research interests are higher education policy, knowledge production and social development, and academic profession. He is invited as a co-editor of the International Encyclopedia of Higher Education, to be published by Springer in 2014. He published "University Ranking" (2011) and "Institutionalization of World-Class University" (2013) by Springer. His upcoming book "Teaching and Research in Contemporary Higher education" and "The Future of University at the Crossroads" will be published in 2013.
