If You Use Shinkansen (Bullet Train)
1. From JR Hiroshima Station (Recommended!)
Take an up-train (Sanyo-Line) and get off at JR Saijo Station (30 mins., 570 yen). Then take a bus bound for Hiroshima University at Platform 1 and get off at the "Hiro-Dai Chuo-Guchi" (20 mins, 280 yen). It would be a 5 mins. walk to RIHE, which is located at the back of the Central Library.

2. From JR Higashi-Hiroshima Station
JR Higashi-Hiroshima Station, only Kodama Express is available, is the nearest one to Hiroshima University. However, we have only 5 bus services a day from the station to the University. (20 mins., 380 yen). Get off the bus at "Hiro-Dai Chuo-Guchi". If the bus service is not available, we would suggest taking a taxi to our campus (10 mins., approximately 1700 yen).

If You Use Airlines
3. From Hiroshima Airport
Take a bus bound for JR Shiraichi Station at Platform 1, which is available every 30 mins. (9 mins , 190 yen). At JR Shiraichi Station, switch to a train going to downtown and get off at Saijo Station. For more details, refer to 1.

From Downtown Hiroshima
4. The direct Express Bus, Green Phoenix, is available for 15 services a day from Hiroshima Bus Center in Kamiya-cho (1 hour, 800 yen). Get off the bus at "Hiro-Dai Chuo-Guchi" and take a walk for 5 mins. to RIHE.
